Love Brings Us Home is a heartfelt holiday animation created as a solo entry for the WeAreHumAIn Christmas competition — and I'm thrilled it won! The short also received an Honorable Mention at Project Odyssey, the world’s largest AI film competition. Inspired by the magic of Advent and the emotional pull of home during the holidays, this film blends narrative warmth with a whimsical visual style, brought to life entirely using AI tools. From start to finish, I handled every part of the process — from idea to execution — creating a cozy, emotionally resonant moment just in time for Christmas.

Creative Process

Concept & Storyboarding: Brainstormed and written in ChatGPT to shape the structure, emotion, and holiday feel.
Visuals & Design: MidJourney and Ideogram were used to craft wintery scenes, cozy characters, and festive title visuals.
Image Enhancement: Magnific AI was used to upscale and clean details while maintaining softness and charm.
Animation & Motion: Scenes were animated using MiniMax (75%) and Kling AI (25%) to create subtle, expressive motion and pacing.
Video Upscaling: Topaz Labs AI gave the final video extra sharpness and smooth delivery.
Editing: Entire short was pulled together using CapCut Pro — perfect for fine-tuning pacing, transitions, and visual cohesion.
