A Modern Take on a Classic Rhyme
“Hey Diddle Diddle” is a playful reimagining of the beloved English nursery rhyme, created as a short AI-assisted animated musical. This heartfelt piece was developed in collaboration with composer Michael Mennies and submitted to the Creative Refuge Competition. Our goal? To bring a fresh, modern twist to a timeless tune — using cutting-edge tools, storytelling charm, and a whole lot of fun.
Creative Process
- Music & Sound: Original score, editing, and post-production by Michael Mennies, combining whimsy with cinematic polish.
- Concept & Visual Direction: I led the visual design, scene flow, and stylistic interpretation using AI tools.
- Tools & Tech: We used Suno for musical ideation, Google DeepMind for AI animation, and Audimee for enhancing voice and rhythm alignment.
- Vibe: Whimsical, energetic, and full of heart — bridging nostalgia with modern creativity.
